Lotus introduces a slight facelift into the range of Lotus elise to, under the surname Sport, replace the current Lotus Elise and Elise S. In this way the Lotus elise sport and the Lotus Elise Sport 220, they leave us with improvements in what to their weight refers to and new aesthetic options in your cabin.
Lotus maintains the original Toyota mechanics unchanged with 136 and 220 horses respectively.
This change of name, this facelift, leaves us with a weight of 10 kg less thanks to the adoption of sport seats as part of the standard equipment and some new tires (16 inches at the front, 17 inches at the rear), a weight reduction that in the case of the Lotus Elise Sport leaves us with a total weight of 866 kg while in the Elise Sport 220 the weight becomes 914 kg.
Sports seats can now sport quite a striking combination, a classic tartan finish which also extends to the bare trimmings of the doors. further the rear diffuser finished in black is now part of the standard equipment.
Mechanically there are no changes in its propellants. The Sport is powered by the 1.6 liters and 136 horses, with a torque of 160 Nm while the Sport 220 has a block of 1.8 liters with a power of 220 horses extracted thanks to the presence of a compressor, with a torque of 250 Nm.
Prestationally, the Lotus Elise Sport is capable of marking a 0 to 100 km / h in 6.5 seconds with a maximum speed of 204 km / h, registering an average consumption of 6.3 l / 100 km. The Sport 220 for its part marks a 0 to 100 km / h in 4.6 seconds with a maximum speed of 234 km / h and an average consumption of 7.5 l / 100 km.
