Forget the Bugatti Chiron. The most exclusive supercar of the moment is surely the impressive Koenigsegg Agera RS Naraya. It is not a Koenigsegg Regera, nor the powerful One: 1 that has tried to break the lap record at the Nurburgring – without much success at the moment. The difference compared to other Koenigsegg Agera RS is that this supercar has been built entirely of carbon fiber with blue tint. Even his monohull has received this tint, as well as gold leaf and … 155 diamonds!

It is the first Koenigsegg whose monocoque has been built in carbon fiber tinted in blue.

After presenting a Koenigsegg Agera approved for circulation in the USA – something not so simple for a low volume manufacturer like Koenigsegg – the Swedish brand has presented this Agera RS, nicknamed Naraya by its owner. A meaningful name for his family, presumably of Asian origin. In addition to its blue carbon fiber, the car has a multitude of details covered in gold leaf. Details such as the central exhaust outlet, the centers of the wheels, or accents on its bodywork.

This 18 karat gold leaf has been applied in a truly labor-intensive artisan process. It has been hand-placed by Ettore ‘Blaster’ Callegaro. This Italian craftsman enjoys a great reputation in the world of customization of cars and motorcycles, and has spent two weeks finishing the Swedish supercar. Two weeks in which you have worked six days, 12 hour shifts. It is quite clear that cost has not been a concern of the owner of the Koenigsegg.

When money is not a bottleneck, only technique is the limit to human ambitions.

Inside the supercar there are more surfaces covered in gold leaf, as well as the name of the supercar, “Naraya”, engraved in 18-carat gold and decorated with no less than 155 artificial diamonds. Synthetic diamonds created in the United States by Ada Diamonds. The interior also receives Alcantara in blue tones and the same carbon fiber of its body adorns different moldings and details. It is clear that when money is not the bottleneck, anything is possible.

On a mechanical level, the Koenigsegg Agera RS Naraya is no different from other Agera. Use a 5.0 V8 engine supercharged by two turbochargers in parallel, developing a maximum power of 1,160 hpas long as E85 is used as fuel. Its seven-speed sequential gearbox allows an acceleration of 2.8 seconds to 100 km / h, as well as a top speed of 402 km / h. With all the extras that this unit carries, I dare to think that the Bugatti Chiron is a bargain next to it.
