At the wheel the 10 times Italian rally champion Paolo Andreucci flanked by the Director of PSA Italia Massimo Roserba.
Gala evening for the multi-winning 208 T16 which, on the occasion of the Salone del Parco del Valentino, was the protagonist of the Supercar Night Parade. Clearly, considering his racing character and exceptional driver, the 10 times Italian rally champion Paolo Andreucci, the changes in Piazza San Carlo were a natural consequence.
The same Tuscan pilot he confirmed: “It was a wonderful experience, I really enjoyed myself and, I confess, I was very impressed by the warmth of the people who came to see the show cheering as we passed. Ok during a rally, but here I was surprised by the involvement of people, young and old. Moreover, on this occasion, knowing that it was a parade, I didn’t even give the gas on the pedal, only to be prompted by the staff of the organization … So I let go of the horses and we gave a little show. It is always nice to bring rallies to cities and during the stages of the Italian championship we happen to enter urban contexts, such as the Rally of Rome or the Targa Florio, but in Turin it was different. Cradle of the car of our country, this city holds the first car to circulate in Italy at the Automobile Museum, coincidentally a Peugeot! A Type 3 from 1893 ”.
“Together with Massimo Roserba, Director of PSA Italia who for once took over from Anna Andreussi, we have seen how much what we do in competitions is recognized by the public and this leads us to want to win a lot. Now the fifth race of the championship awaits me and I firmly intend to consolidate the great advantage in the championship that I have over my rivals ”.
In short, a well-deserved bath of affection for the Lion driver and for his companion in four-wheeled challenges always on the crest of the wave in the Italian rally championship.
