In Chevrolet they have gone crazy. Imagine taking a 1970 Chevrolet Camaro and change its mechanics for that of a recent Chevrolet corvette z06, the result? A runaway Classic chevy of spectacular plant and 650 horses after the accelerator that the North American firm has presented on the occasion of the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

This Chevrolet preparation is an invitation to look at the brand’s accessories catalog and order an LT4 block

Chevrolet has thus unleashed that wet petrolhead dream of having a classic with the charm of a classic but with the wild levels of power that we currently handle by installing the whole in the engine compartment of this 70 Camaro RS LT4 with an aluminum V8 block of 6.2 liters supercharged.

This block develops a power of 650 horses at 6,400 rpm and a runaway torque of 880 Nm to 3,600 Nm remaining also in the hands of a manual transmission.

The mechanical evolution experienced by this Chevrolet Camaro does not stop there. Next to this block of new invoice we find a updated suspension with an independent set in the front axle and a rear axle with four arms, a new address Y 19 inch wheels after which we find a staff of Brakes also inherited from the Chevrolet Corvette Z06.

The changes in its cycle part culminate in the adoption of a roll cage while aesthetically we find a new set of LED optics.

Of course, to our dismay, this is nothing more than an experiment by the firm on the occasion of the SEMA Show in order to incite us to sin, to take their accessories catalog and order an LT4 block for the classic that we have in our garage.
